Up **** creek.
Ive seen loads of old range rovers goin round with green diamond stickers in the rear window showing they have LPG in the boot, but is there any need to display anything if you have underslung tanks and run on LPG?

I am told that this does really only apply to commercial vehicles and if you supply the information in the form of a GREEN Diamond (compressed gas) aboard, the emergency services will look for a GITDS goods in transit data sheet before rescuing you from the vehicle. I doubt it but then again thats hearsay.

Surely it's only common sense to have LPG stickers so if you need to call the fire service they'll know about it? And the ones I had fitted to my LPG Disco were red not green.

yeah red is for LPG, the green ones ive seen mean compressed gas which could mean all sorts (but in the case of the rangies it was def LPG), just telling you what I seen. I have on occasion had a nosey through the rear screen and seen the tank in the boot and thought that may be the reason.

It would be common sense to have visible warnings on any vehicle fitted with LPG for the obvious reasons but I suppose what i should have asked is: Is it a legal requirement for all vehicles fitted with LPG to display a warning?

Oh and by the way is there a particular size/place you have to display this warning? there usually bloody is with everything else.

Dippypud ive tried checking out your link but my PC wont allow it to open for some reason so sorry if the answer lies in there.

Ive seen loads of vehicles fitted with LPG with no visible warning signs anywhere, mine in fact did not come with one. A rover round here used to have "THIS CAR RUNS ON LPG" in 3" letters across the rear bumper but it had been converted by the local rover garage who had recently installed an LPG pump (the only one in at least 30 miles) and so thought it was done for publicity, but no warning sticker.
