This is one subject Dom's actually for. There's is someone he refers to as Legoman who has a gassed up 2.8 tgv and it aparaently goes very well. Good idea about alisport they're not that far to pop up and have a look see. Tinley tech do kits as well, they quoted me £70 for the box of electric trickery that governs the gas delivery. I know someone that used to fit gas kits and has some surplus stuff. If you get the rangie going in the morning I will be able to pop over after I've seen the firearms officer.

Let me know how you get on. £70 sounds good as I know someone who fits LPG kits to petrols landies who may be able to do the rest.
