Hello all.
After a Mis-fuel putting petrol in my TD4, decided to change the fuel filter under the rear wheel arch and while I'm there the pump. Been running on the old Pump and filter with no problems since the over sight, and getting all sorted before the petrol left the tank.
Fitted a new Bearmach pump and filter today, and got the whirring sound as the priming process took place.
Engine runs fine, but there still seems to be a Buzzing sound coming from the pump.
Is this normal? Can't see that it is. Not took it for a run yet as not filled with confidence with the new pump.
Any advice welcome.
Cheers Gary.

Get the pierburg (ti automotive) one. Return the bearmach and don't touch the under 100 quid ones.
Very common topic on td4s.
On top of the sound these cheap ones will not last and they provide low pressure 290 kpa instead of 370+.
280 is bear minimum and will start throwing errors.

Thanks for your reply.
Don't think there made any more, tried to find on the net. Do you have a link? Thanks for your time.
Cheers.
