Disco 2 low power under 2000rpm, can it be MAF?

I doubt that... it could have altered the MAP's reading curve in the fuel map as to read lower or raise the overboost limit but it must have a linear behaviour and show the increasing boost together with the gauge

Just one more think... Today I have found a "driver demand "error in Nanocom (never had before). Can it be due to this issue?

The MAP has changed, no real improvement. But at least I know that it is good now.
I think the problem will be the ECU. The problem is that the "specialist" who has done the remap can not be reached (the given phone number is not valid). The previous owner has promised to find him...
I think now that the only good solution would be to send the ECU to the UK to a real LR MAP specialist and ask for a reliable update.

Didnt by any chance the previous owner fit a boost box somewhere hidden? cos that would explain the low MAP reading

It should be connected to the ECU right? I have not seen anything there.

It should be connected to the MAP circuit usually spliced into the wires to the ECU plug

It can mix up things if it's fubar cos it alters the MAP inputs which affects fuelling.... at this point we know that the MAP reading is a problem and as the sensor itself was ruled out only some external/wiring issue on it's circuit can cause that or the ECU has a problem

It was some months ago when we talked about my issue but finally could not really find the solution. I have used my car like it is (I feel week under 2000rpm) without real issue, but I have discovered something interesting yesterday.
In the past I had strange engine noise (vibration) around 2800-3200rpm, which has gone when I changed the MAP (I do not say that due to it) but now it came back. Stopped the car and disconnected the MAF and....the noise has gone! The car pulled much nicer without the MAF. After about 5 min drive I connected back the MAF just to see, and the noise is back.
I changed my MAF to an italian made (Meat and Doria) last year but seems to be not stable so I will buy a genuine one now...Hopefully the car will work better.

Yesterday I installed the new genuine MAF and since I have a new car! It pulls better already from 1800rpm, no strange vibration between 2800-3200 and acceleration from 0-100 improved by about 3sec (now it is around14sec).
I will plug Nanocom during weekend to compare data to old ones....

Well done mate... at least here's another evidence that i'm not full off sh*t when i insist about GENUINE MAF and the effect it has in the management.

To be honest until now i have also thought that an aftermarket part from a reliable supplier should be on the same level as the genuine one but in case of MAF it is maybe not the case.
Even on nanocom the aftermarket one shows good values but somehow the result is different.
