My 2001 discovery td5 is on air on the back

It looks a bit low and I was wondering if the ride height could be adjusted

Thanks

Nic

is it lower all the time or when you dont drive the car for few hours it sinks down?

Looks a bit low all the time. Not horrendous but I've seen a few other td5 that a bit higher on the back I tow quite a lot & I prefer it a bit higher

Hi,
Yes it is possible to adjust the height but you need to use equipment like Nanocom Evo or Hawkeye or go to a dealer. Easy enough to do but I'm a bit far away from you I'm affraid.
The reason for Torlak's question is to rule out you have a leak anywhere, which is very common. Usually the bags.

Ok I see I thought there may be adjustment underneath. The air bags & compressor are about 6 months old so hopefully not leaking. Thanks for the info.

first of all you must make sure that the compressor is working, it's possible to be a management issue and the compressor doersnt kick in at all but if the system has no leaks it will stay on level for long time without rising, push the ORM switch on the dash cos then the compressor must kick in to lift the back and the ORM warning will stop flashing when it reaches the extended height... if there will be no compressor activity then it means that calibration might be good just that you dont get any air to lift the back to normal height if you see what i mean...if it will work on ORM mode then you need calibration
