Well today I decided to fix a whole load of little things as MOT is drawing near, in addition attended to a few service items - glow plugs, air filter and fuel filter. Took me 2 hours tops, got it all done before the sun went down and my god it drives like a new car now!

It's easy to not realise how perfomance degrades as it is such a gradual thing so if any of you havent serviced your disco for a while, treat it and yourself to a new air/fuel filter, for less than £15 you'd be crazy not to.

There you go, thats all I had to say. Just thought i'd break the mould from all the usual "why's this not working" and "x has fallen off" :D

Just about to do mine, its well over due for a service and the list of things to do is quiet long. I don't think I'll tackle the timing belt though. But I will change the Springs, shocks, rear discs and pads all round at the same time.

Gave mine a full service last month (and a new head and turbo). It's nice when everything works how it should. Getting there with it now. Found out why my heater fan doesn't work yesterday. It's the not knowing I hate.
