Loud thud when changing gear

Hello folks I finally restored 4WD on my freelander and since then there's an occasional loud thud coming from underneath the front/mid end. It happens when accelerating out of 1st gear mostly, sometimes 2nd and 3rd if I'm driving fast. Sounds like someone hitting the underside with a large log!

Quite alarming and doesnt sound good. I installed new cheap aftermarket propshaft bearings, can they cause some play and knocking due to poor quality?

Check front rear diff mount, usually broken, prop hits underside of car on power take up.
Easy fix, about £15

Ah right yeh that would make sence I'll check out the diff mount, hopefully that'll sort it!

Did you leave a dead body in the boot without strapping it down? ;-)
