Afternoon.

After the downpour for mose of the day, the 90 has a puddle in the
drivers footwell.... Joy.

The water runs off the roof, to the top of the door down the gully bit,
then it falls from that and down the drivers window. Water is getting in
between the glass and the external rubber strip on the door, running
down the window guide, and onto the floor via the door bottom.

Anyone got any ideas how to increase the pressure between the glass and
the rubber strip?

I cant quite picture it properly.

Do you mean the actual door seal is the leaking bit? bending the door
tops inwards works on serieses ;)

Or do you mean the window runner or the weather stripping along the
bottom?

Can you replace the weatherstripping with new? This works well on
older cars to keep water out of the doors.

The door seals seem to be fine, water is getting in between the glass
and the ?weatherstrip?. It runs along the inside of the window runner to
the bottom of the door where it collects.

woollies trim call the flexy rubber stuff that goes between outside of
your glass and the door 'weatherstrip' (bottom of this page -
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/Window.html)

Were your doors new? or second hand? I presume that Richard@beamends
sells new weatherstrip for very little money (on my car it just clips
on easily). perhaps new stuff will work better?

vehicle via two holes in the bottom of the door. The door should also have
a plastic inner liner to make sure the water stays there. Most likely the
inner liner is unglued or missing and the holes blocked - but it is
possible the bottom of the door is badly rusted allowing water onto the
floor as well as where it is supposed to go.

Thee door is nearly new - No Rust whatsoever on the bottom..

There is no plastic in it at all - Can you elaborate on where its
supposed to be stuck?
