Lots of lights

Hi Everyone, Can anyone help with the following please. Earlier this week the 3 amigos came on so i replaced the brake light switch but still they stayed on. It went to the local garage but no faults were evident. Now today the engine management light has come on, the speedo has stopped working and its on reduced power. Any ideas? On another point ive got a rushing of air when the turbo spools up, so i replaced the intercooler pipes and checked everthing but it still makes the noise. Is it possible for these problems to be connected?

What year is it, I would say that you have two different issues, when you say you had it hooked up what diagnostics did they use as depending on year some non LR diagnostics will not read all the faults. For the three Amigos would look at rear off side abs sensor as thats the one which is used for speedo. As for the other get it hooked up to a LR reader and see what the fault is

gotta gree with booboodag, numbers of faults together. Amigos, speedo likely combo. turbo issue could be map sensor or shagged turbo, wouldnt hurt to strip down egr, inlet manifold and MAP sensor to give a bloody good clean. also the maf sensor too, assuming ts a td4 like mine was. cleaning is free and solves if not emilimnates most issues.

Hi bbd, its a 2003. My garage put a snap on system on( not sure of name)I will get them to check the abs sensor.

Thanks cox325, it sounds like a bit of elbow grease may help. I take it the 3 amigos can be a number of problems. I will report back with feedback when its had a clean out and the abs is checked.

Just an update, after having another system on it came up with the following 1 n/s/r abs sensor, 2/ o/s/f/ abs sensor and wheel speed sensor ( whatever that is)so that will probably cure the 3 amigos and the speedo. The air noise has turned out to be a cracked air box where the right hand intercooler pipe connects to it ( someone got carried away tightening the clip:doh It goes in to be fixed friday. Wish me luck

Correction, it was o/s/r/ abs sensor as correctly said by booboodag.
