hi, the miss's freelander l-series, has lost all power, as if the turbo isn't kicking in. i've checked the top hose and the turbo to map line and all seems well.

know very little about Freelanders, but have you removed the hoses and had a good look inside them to see if they haven't delaminated, have a good poke around the inside as it is not always evident by just looking. is not unheard of for this to happen in other models.

dodgy wiring harness to pump is always a suspect.

have you changed any bulbs or had electrical issues lately, believe it or not they can affect the pump voltages!

nope, not changed absolutely anything. i'll check all the wiring tommorow when it gets light.

This is the thing with my foot to the floor in neutral, i've checked all boost hoses, changed the map sensor, changed the stop solenoid. im tottally befuddled with the thing??
p.s, please ignore the 3 amigos

yep, checked them best i can, and cant see any faults, drowned them in wd40 too??
could it be a blocked cat/dpf

being frightened of electrics, i thought i'd try every other avenue first, soooo i loosened the bolts on the front of the cat, and hey presto, so an hour later after shouting and swearing trying to smash the guts out, all is well again. gave the actuator a couple of turns as well whilst i was at it.

thanks for your help guys
