Loss of power between low revs 1500-1750

300 tdi auto edc, started to loose power some times at between 1500 -1750 rom, tacho drops to 750 then raises again can not make her do it al the time, did also have the check engine light come on once,

any suggestions welcome

i am at a loss

It's most likely to do with the accelerator pedal and it's fly-by-wire potentiometer. The tracks wear and needs cleaning or renewing.
