Loss of power and squealing noise

Driving home yesterday and all of a sudden after turning a corner at some traffic lights my 3.9v8 1995 disco felt like it wasn't running on all cylinders and had lost power. As I was only about 2 miles from home I decided to crawl home, as I got near to my driveway a squealing noise started like a fanbelt slipping, but I checked fan belt and don't believe it was that making the noise, sounded more like one of the pulley bearings. Anybody know what might cause all of these issues to happen at the same time? it must be all related

how fast where you going around the corner when the problems happened?

Is the oil level ok?

I had just set off from a standstill so maybe doing 10-15 mph, oil level should be fine cause its just been serviced, anyway its been towed back to where I bought it from cause it still has a warantee for next few months, I'll let you know what is found
