my first freelander td4 auto lasted 175,000 or abouts with no problem from the vcu and now I am one my second one so that's about 16 years I have had a freelander td4 auto and still love them my wife has a 1998 1800 petrol and yes it has had the head gasket done she had it when it was just about 3 years old and still drives it nearly every day and it passes mots no problems or very very rare

There's only one thing betterer than owning a Freelander...

I think the record on ere was 6 not that long ago. Freelandering heaven...

Sold one 2 weeks ago. Twas 6 !!
