looking to buy first disco, advice needed

Hi - am after some advice. am looking to buy a disco 2 auto, for general usage, diesel preferred. is there an FAQ buyers guide, or particularly good 2nd hand disco specialists? i've heard horror stories about rust (hey i've got a lancia as well) so can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks - I'm in cardiff

If you take a peek in the commonly asked questions bit I *think* there is a bit in there. If not ask one of the Disco boys down iin there section. The main things off the top of my head are headlight surrounds, boot floor, footwells, seatbelt mounts and chassis/outriggers, but there are other things as well.

and usual landy stuff like leaking oil seals, noisy/clunky gearbox, difflock not working etc.
