Hi all,

ANR 4652, previously ANR4387. This seems no longer to be available new although I did find one on eBay. Was just wondering if anyone has a tip on where I might find new OR knows what relay is inside? Is there a generic relay that I might be able to substitute? @wammers, mate, any nuggets hidden somewhere in your enlightened mind?

Ebay is the only source i know of now. What is wrong with the one you have? They do tend to develop bad solder joints over time. Remove the cover and check the board with a strong eye glass for dry or broken solder joints. If you find any, apply a pin head of flux and make good with a small tipped iron. My spare one had several bad joints.

What's wrong is its missing. :D

Car is still a working hack out here and can be up in remote locations sometimes. It had an AC problem and some essentially bush mechanics got under the dash and patched things up. Did a good job. I had removed the timer relay the night before to check for a leak and forgot to put it back in. It was tucked under the seat, just pulled out of the connector. They probably thought it was something they had forgotten to put back in under the dash and decided to hide the evidence!

Never a dull day.

Any breakers out there reading this that might have one please?

There are plenty on eBay for little money.

Ok this is interesting. So what does the delay timer relay actually do and how does it do it? I'm guessing from your post that the original is a standard relay plus a little PCB board (hence the long box)? So while I can replace the relay I won't get all the functionality without the PCB?

When ignition is switched off it keeps EAS active for twenty seconds or so to self level. It also switches the EAS on automatically every six hours or so whilst parked up with ignition off and EAS self levels for twenty seconds, to the level of the lowest corner.
 
Kind of silly to need to do it every 6 hours and can't think of why the car needs to be actively leveled whilst parked. What if you lived on the side of a hill? Might as well do it when you start up. Anyway, have found it on ebay. Thanks again everyone.

I think it is because after you've parked up you tend to unload and the back can end up pointing at the sky. Doesn't work very well though. When I take logs out I have to shut the tailgate and turn the ignition or just leave it running.
