Looking for a reliable service engineer in Perthshire

I've bought a new Defender 90, and already lost faith in the dealer. Not convinced about advice to date, and service is very poor. Can anyone please recommend a good Land Rover approved service engineer based in Perthshire or Fife?

Not sure about "Land Rover Approved"...but there's a guy in Birnam seems to know his stuff....

Its a 2009 Defender 90XS - the 2.4l Ford Transit engine - brand new (i know probably lesson learned). They misdiagnosed a problem with an idler and replaced parts twice before they realised that it might be "wax on a belt". I've queried a deep noise which comes from the passenger side of the engine when i switch off - they put this down to the EGR valve working and "perfectly normal", but they dont look convcinced themselves.

To be honest, I've no idea and I'm quite happy to pay an independant engineer to give it the once over.

My Landy came to me from Birnam Autopoint. There's Lix Toll out by Killin and a place in Auchterarder as well, though I can't seem to find a website for it at the moment.

Try GEMM4x4 based in larbert near Falkirk.

Think this is the Auchterarder one you refer to, remember passing thru about 35 years ago and there are still there today, they must be doing something right.
