Hope everyone is well.
I got my first freelander 1 2.0l td4 last week. The only issue so far I’m having is starting the car. Sometimes it will start straight up on the go and sometimes it will crank crank crank then start up little white smoke after start up then runs fine no smoke at all, no lights or no power loss. I changed the fuel filter the other day and emptied the water separator. The car started straight up first time for about a day after I changed them no problems. Now It’s going back to cranking cranking cranking then start up. If it startscranking and cranking then I turn it off then try again it starts up straight away. I do wait for the glow plug light to come on but onlyreally comes on in the morning and starts first time after the glow plug light goes out but most of the time the glow plug light won’t come on .Sorry this is a long one, but if you can helpme out I really appreciate it.
