Locking Wheel Nuts ???????

Hi all

I have a problem and am pretty sure someone on here will have the answer.

I bought some locking wheel nuts on ebay for my defender but when I tried to fit them couldn't as the studs on the defender where too big (Diameter bigger than the nuts)

Does any one know what these will be for ?

Without pointing to where they came from its hard to say what they should be for.

Defender stud/wheel nut size has been the same all the way through so short of miss-selling the locking wheel nuts there shouldn't be any reason for them not to fit.

Different nuts for alloy or steel wheels, but thread diameter is the same on both - can only think you were sold the wrong nuts for the job
