Do you have breakdown cover?

Do you have access to tools or general garage tat?

Just read it again... You aint actually locked out at the minute.

I have 3 cures for you......

1) get a spare key and fob
2) don't leave the keys in the ignition
3) if you have no other choice than to leave em in the ignition, stick the window down before getting out

very simple to get them out...weddge bar under removeable roof at the lock side and back window drops! climb into the boot and with a long stick over the divde [its a comercial} hit the unlock button on the dash..desperate times desperate measures!! im an agri mechanic so have tools garage access etc..

i dont leave keys in any more but dont wanna rely on that incase i forget! and dont realy wanna carry spare key around in my pocket for when or if it happens again!

It would have been even simpler if you went straight to part 3.;):p

Best carry your breakdown documents instead. I have regulars that I go out to cos they keep locking their keys in.

you dont have a j**p!

only ever happened the once..two weeks ago warm dry day..any idea how much for a spare..or an emergency break glass hammer!:p:p:D

just get a standard key cut if you want to be a tight arse. It'll only cost you about £5-£10.

It tends to happen more in cold weather due to frozen locks and also people scraping their windows or going back indoors with their engines running

not being tight!!:p:focus: just wondering about how much.. ive a robber of a locksmith that does work for our garage jus like to have an idea before he tries to pull fast one!
