OK..long story, short...wanted to swap disco PAS connector onto TD PAS pipe - asked local worthy if he knew where I might find Pirtek or similar in perth. He asks what the job is...I show Him...oh, he says...Rab can do that for you, he has a hydraulic press..leave it with me. So I does...
4 weeks later, I am still waiting for the return of the pipe...see local worthy frequently, but he has not remembered..or when he has Rab ain't been available....:doh: :doh: :doh: :doh:
So.....have 200tdi ready to rock - except for rad/intercooler etc as thought easier to connect PAS pipe first....
But...now I need to move landy - yard where it rests complaining.. ..yak..yak..yak...
Not worried about the lack of power steering per se..and obviously can connect rad etc.....but....is it ok to fire up engine without fluid going through PAS pump?
Is 6 miles to its new home....
