Morning all,
First of all I'm new here but have browsed a few times in the past while looking for info on taking a Landy to Mongolia... ended up taking a Suzuki Vitara instead...
Anyway, I'm looking to do the opposite of what most people want to do, and that's to remove the two forward facing seats in the back of a 2007 110 XS and replace them with 4 tip-up seats from Exmoor Trim.
I basically need 9 seats to transport guests from our chalet in France to the lifts, a 4km drive on snow and ice, and I want the latest Defender I can afford, which only has 7 seats!
Is this going to be a viable option (i.e. an afternoons work) or shall I just look for a TD5 with 9 seats?
On that matter, how much of an improvement in terms of drive ability, fuel economy etc is the Puma engine over the TD5?
