Hi i know this might be a stupid question but what does the LN stand for applied to the freelander 1, i think my petrol 1.8 may be one of these.Regards Martin.

They are all LN

Check your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) it will begin SALLN

S- made in Europe
A- United Kingdom
L- LandRover
LN- Freelander

and so on it goes, with more info about wheelbase, engine etc. - every vehicle has this VIN it's like a 'birth certificate'.
