HEY GUYS,
long time no post sorry,just bought some linseed oil to try out on the old black stuff,PLEASE NOTE,sais on the bottle extreme caution douse used rags in water after use as linseed oil if left open to atmosphere on a rag can spontaniously combust,did some net research and its true,
ALL BE WARNED SOAK USED RAGS IN WATER AFTER USE AND DO NOT STORE INSIDE THE GARAGE ETC,
thought you all would want to know.....
 
Only joking Slob! Tell you what, that thread on the bushes should have been made a sticky, cos it was a classic..should be recommended reading for any newbies, to see what they're letting emselves in for....:p


I only log on half the time to see what your latest avatar is, they always make me smile mate, keep em coming..;)
 
have just done all the trim with the linseed oil,
looks awsome,use sparingly and with a lint free cloth or you get fluffy bits,will let you all know how it goes over the next few weeks or so,

If you don't wash it too firm it will stay on for some time, don't worry (no need to scrub the plastic I mean). Have also the impression it lasts longer every time I applied it.
