Hi folks, not posted for yonks - been a lurker! When my gearbox was replaced in a rush job last boxing day, the little gearstick wasn't reconnected. I never even noticed for yonks as I don't offroad...unless you count Spanish B roads as offroading which has got to be similar! So now, my little knob just flops around..oooer missus.. and I can't put the box into low ratio or diff lock should I ever wish to. Now then, is it a simple enough job to reconnect and what sort of linkage is it ?(I guess that some sort of bolt or pin was never replaced) Any suggestions?
Cheers

Should be very simple. You'll have to get underneath and have a look to see which bit isn't connected it should be pretty obvious how to stick it back together.

It also depends on whether they fitted any of the linkage and just didn't connect the two together, or if the whole linkage is missing.

Have you got the Rave disc? If you haven't I have pdf's for the R380 and LT77 gearboxes both have a small section about the transfer linkages and are only 2mbish each so could easily email you them.

sent 'em.

Anyone else pm me an email addy and I'll email them back to you.
