Lineing Up

Thinking of taking all the doors off next week to respray them at work.
Have read its a bastard to line the buggers up afterwards.
Is it worth it, or should i just do them along with the rest of the vehicle.

I have taken the doors off a few times and 15 minutes is about the longest Iv spent trying to line one up afterwards. I maybe just good or more lightly just lucky Im not sure. I have read the other threads too but Iv never found this job difficult.

They're relatively simple to line back up as long as you use your noggin. Get a friend round and then put one bolt through the upper hinge and one through the lower hinge so that the door can't drop at that side. Then have your friend support the door towards the hinges whilst you push it closed. Make sure that you hear it click shut, then make sure your friend keeps the door held firm (by pushing against it really hard) whilst you then add the bolts that sit diagonal to the bolts you added previously. Tighten them up (there should be 4 at this time). Then open the door and slam it shut again. If it clicks shut, add the other 4 bolts, tighten all and the job's a gud'n
