Limp mode unknown error

Hi, started my 2001 TD5 discovery, got the M&S blinking, yes I'm in limp mode... Checked on my Nanocom under the automatic gearbox section, got this odd message "Z! Invalid fault code"
Restart the car, it's gone, no more M&S blinking, what does this error mean?

Hi DC, this flashing of the M&S lights on start-up is often caused by a weak car battery. If you leave your battery on charge overnight and then try it you probably find the problem has gone away.

Take it its auto could be battery or xy switch starting to play up
