Hey guys after sorting a few probs with "big bad" this weekend, and I thought I'd fill up all fluids, I topped up the coolant the week before but thought i'd check again....

Nearly empty! after a little exploring and a drive I noticed a small wet patch on the waterpump, so I think it could be the pump that or the P gasket?

I havn't been anywhere near the engine bay to have accidentally broken anything?!

I'm a complete novice and wondered how easy it is to change the waterpump and/or P gasket? I have read up a little about doing this but when I read "remove the drivechain" I thought it might be out my league...

any suggestions

Its a 96' 300 tdi defender..

Thanks

if it's the p gasket be very carefull there long bolts and can snap easy i suggest buying new bolts as if its the p gasket the water wrots the bolts but all in all it a simple job losen the bolts on the pulley before you take the belt off it makes life easyer!!

based in portsmouth, if anyone who knows how to do this, would be great

@defender300td1 thanks for the advice, for the cost of the bolts it would defo be worth it
