Not sure about the S3 but my military 2A is arranged for twin belts so I think there must be an offset against the standard. Plus when I first got it it had the wrong profile belt fitted which doesn't change the allignment but didnt help matters.

hi was trying to put series 3 bracket on lower right hand side where civi one would be but pulleys did not line up with was going to have 2 alternators one on top on double pulley set up and other down bottom instead of milatary tension wheel ? by fitting series civi bracket

I guess you will have to modify the bracket then or make a new one, unless you can move the pulley on the alternator shaft . I cant help you on that one mine still has a dynamo on it.
