lightweight radius arms. cranked drag links

I'm trying to find out what purpose 3 degree radius arms and cranked links have. I'm very aware of the items jobs but not sure what the different angle is for. I'm guessing its foe raised suspension but feel like there could be more denefits ... ?

Any help on this would be great im in no rush i been repairing defenders foe years im rather good at fixing them just with standard parts, im new to off roaring as a hobby and so new to all the updated parts

It's all been covered before but essentially it corrects the angle created by lifting

caster angle is 3 degrees ,when you fit longer springs to lift vehicle axle rotates slightly loosing some or all of the caster angle ,which means you loose you self centering effect in the steering
