Lightweight engine / chassis numbers

Sorry for the repetition if you saw this on the main forum but I have just bought a little cracker on the internet and shipped it to Africa and it is currently stuck in Mombasa as the vehicle inspection team cannot find the chassis or engine numbers and won't clear it...
I have looked at the dumb iron area and that seems to be blank, .- may have been replaced but otherwise its in pretty good order but no sight of the numbers. Nothing obvious at all on the engine.
I think its a series 2a Lightweight from 1972 (according to the papers) see pic, anyone know where the numbers are supposed to be ?Also - any ownership history/previous owners for this Landy out there? would welcome a swap of info etc.

The stamped chassis number should be on the driver's side (UK RHD) spring hanger, but this area is often replaced as it rots.
The engine number should be stamped on to an oblong area at the front passenger side of the engine, just in front of the exhaust manifold, near the water pump.
