if it comes down ere with a feckin ardtop i'll bin the bastard

Hmmmm.... that's a plan .... save me taking it off .... but maybe we could Ebay it?

I take it you are in Welsh Wales ....

Hoops and canvas ... camo paint job ....

and a wombat mounted in the back

If it was IN the back (we had some of them a long time back) would it be a WOM-bat or a MOW-bat ?

I can't remember which one was the towed version.

Either way .... great weapon and made a tremendous bang!

Right I am off to meet CharlesY and pick up this LWT...

Went, bought, it towed it home on the A-Frame.

2.25 petrol, Weber carb with pancake filter, ex FFR wagon by the look of it, CB, radio, silly bucket seats, full harness belts, silly wee steering wheel, second battery behind driver (no idea what for) lots of switches, lights, bells and whistles, and gauges, and all tied onto a galvanised chassis.

Made Discomania test drive it (while I went for a coffee) in case it was dangerous.

Goes quite well, suspension a bit rough and tumble. Clutch pedal is stiff like the pedal pivot is stuck, but it works.

But HEY! Everything seems to work, and I only want it to play with anyway.

I am supposed to be old enough to know better.

I need a working Overdrive to fit a series one ....
I need a full size steering wheel and proper seats to fit.
Look out Paddocks - here I come ......

Off Road tomorrow ...

Charles.

Its pretty bad, its rusted through below the vents and has been stuffed full of filler...

Its got lots of good guages though!

Good wee machine...
