Lightweight, 200 TDI conversion

Hi All,
I am currently rebuilding a Series 3 lightweight, with 200 TDI Disco conversion, the tubo is sitting just over the chassis leg, and I have been told that you can rotate the turbo. I know this involves drilling 2 holes and tapping out the threads. Just wondering if anyone has done this and is it a difficult job. Thanks.

There are the 4 bolts and a big circlip that allows it to rotate, if you did this would it get it out of way of chassis
