Lights out!

2001 DSE has decided not to illuminate the dash, centre console, fascia, etc!

Thought it may be a fuse, but have not checked as yet.

Any info would be great.

Try the little rocker switch on top of the left stalk. Sometimes they can lose setting.

I have always wondered WTF that did and today I happened to be F-ing about with it, in a vein attempt to find out.

Well, looks like I did find out!

I'll check tomorrow, but I'm sure that's the issue.

Switch sidelights on and push the little switch to the right and the lights will slowly gain brightness, to the left and they dim.

Yeah it's easy peasy.

I have always messed with it during the day and hence not found out what it did.

Had the car almost 2 years too! Crazy.
