Light Weight III

Hello, I have been offered a Light Weight III with diesel engine and soft-top. I is brand new been in storage since it left the factory. This person has offered me one for US$12,000 shipped and including duty to Belize.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a good deal or not. Also how are these LR on fuel? I am guessing pretty good since they are light and diesel.

Any info would be much appreciated.

firstly, shipping to belize - i can most likely sort out to you cheaper. i will be shipping some motors across at some point also.

are we talking belize dollars or US? im going to guess US, in which case a good $3000 of that will be duty. put $2000 aside for shipping which makes it a $7000 dollar lightweight which i think i am right in saying is around 4000 quid. that is about the going rate for a top dollar lightweight, but to be honest it sounds a little dodgy

you are in belize - find one out there. theres loads in scrappys, a friend got one for a box of belikin. there is one just outside the hospital in belmopan which has been there for a while. no point going and getting one from the UK if you can find em over in belize.

it might be worth gonig to one of the -batsub auctions as well, you can pick up land rovers dirt cheap there
