Light Stalk Removal

Hi,
Need some help on headlight stalk removal on a disco 300tdi please, Does the steering wheel need to come off, it has airbags.

probably best to remove the wheel.if you disconnect your battery,and leave it off for a while. then remove the steering wheel wiring to the air bag you should have no problems taking the wheel off.just don't give it too many whacks if it's a bit stiff, if you put in where your based someone may be near you to lend a hand.
