Good afternoon all.
I'm still a long way off painting and finishing my project, however I'm looking to draw upon the extensive knowledge of fellow forum members.

I have a 1979 109" commercial, affectionately nicknamed 'Patch' due to a different colour on every panel.

The plan is to return it to the original colour, which inside the cab and on the bulkhead is a bronze green with a limestone white roof and wheels.

Not my car, but one I really like the look of, can anyone advise on the colour code or RAL number for the photos below please? May be a tad different to mine at present, but this is the one I'm after.

Light - Mid or deep bronze green and Limestone white?

Many thanks,
Bill

If you want enamel then just about every manufacturer do a deep bronze green. If you want car paint youll have to ask the shop as they all seem to have their own version.

If you really want some fun try sourcing Rover Light Green. The original didnt have a code and when you line up a row at a show they are all different colours, even the original ones. Im going with a few pints of dulux when I can be bothered. Its better quality than most enamels on the market and slightly cheaper than most.;)

This is something to bear in mind, there are lots of horrific quality enamel paints out there. I use my local paint supplier as they are just around the corner and I do not have to wait for delivery but they have two grades of coach enamel and only the top grade is worth using imo. Most physical places will be able to colour match if you have something the correct colour you want to blend to. If not bronze green is bronze green just choose a quality supplier and order enough for the vehicle. Unfortunately you will find most land rovers in it will be the same as the line up of rovers @Bobsticle refers to. Although it has a paint code there will be variations in batch and supplier. you won't really notice until they are lined up, but for you vehicle the slight variation will not be relevant unless you paint different panels with different paint.

I've used Paintman Limestone which is an exact match for the original paint on my 88" hard top. The aerosols are excellent and will duplicate a factory finish but it is easy to get runs. This can be managed through working out what is the appropriate application technique.

Deep Bronze Green BS381C 224 is the standard Land Rover colour. You can search using this BS paint code.
