Lifting body of a disco one

Hi all. I've just bought a disco one 300 tdi and I'm thinking of lifting the body of the chassis is there much work involved in this? And info would be appreciated thanks

Yep, quite involved. All links between body and chassis need removing, so 10 body mounts, 4 seat belt mounts, fuel filler neck, heater hoses and rad hoses, brake flexi lines, steering shaft, gear levers etc. It will then lift off. If you have access to a telehandler or forklift it makes it easier.
