Lifting a winch bumper up higher?

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone on here has welded lower brackets on a winch bumper so it sits higher up on the front.
As shown in this pic.

just cut n reweld the brackets

I new it was a case of cutting the bracket and welding it further down, just wondered if people had done it to there's.
