For any of those "lucky" enough to own a 90 or 110 with lift up handles, by now there's a fair chance that the plastic coating on the handles has broken down a bit. Not much of an issue, but easily sorted in 30 minutes tinkering after work. You could of course buy new ones, but they have become rare and thus expensive (£185 on fleabay).
The key is to obtain some 25mm diameter heatshrink sleeving (I used HS25B from vehicle wiring products). Turned out OK - to my surprise. handlepica1.JPG Cut to length, the sleeving will shrink much more width wise than length, so you cut it to just longer than the handle.
handlepic1.JPG Fold the end so that you can tease it over the end of the handle. It's a bit fiddly, but no really difficult. Long nose pliers might help.
handlepic2.JPG Then apply heat and hey presto! I applied two layers in a heady daze, but one is enough.
