Lift or Not Lift

Hey Guys want some opinions. Preparing my landie for overland/camping but I also use it as my daily driver and for the occational pay and play with the mrs.

Do I bang a 2" lift on it or not?
I'm running brand new 265/80 R16 At's so will it look too big for its boots? Will the geometry be badly put out making it a dog when driving on the road?
Will the lift and roof rack make it too unstable?

I'm not after dislocation or anything like that just want it to sit a little higher up for off road.

ive found practicle gain haveing 2" lift and offset wheels has given me less diff denting down trattor runs.also fitting wider tyres has help protect my brakes more.

please explain how lifting the body further away from the axles helps reduce diff denting?

You can fit bigger tyres.....maybe a whole inch in difference

more relevent for a disco, but the OP has a fender already shod with 265/75s

iv got a 4" lift on mi 90(bout 3" now its gerrin a bit old),n av got 36" tyres.n i can go like fuk round islands wi'out it tippin ova!

Tjanks for the response guys I can't make up my mind. I reckon i'm going to leave it. If I fit it and don't put bigger tyres on then wats the point??

it will give you slightly better approach and depart angles and keep everything slightly higher out of any water or mud

Yea nice post. I wanna go distance in this wagon I don't need all the hassle. I never had a 110 beforew I feel a bit inadequate lol.
