Muddy Mods do all sorts of stuff for the FL1, including lift kits. A 40mm kit is a straightforward fit, but 50mm kit will require some inner wing modification.

I always fancied putting an FL1 on air ride, best of everything in that respect.

Doesn’t the 40mm also require inner wing modification? But it does avoid modication to the chassis rail
Mine did. Honestly I don't know how people fit without mods.40mm and Tbh it seems a lot taller.

Swapping the steering arms left to right is often all thats needed. But a small amount of inner wing adjustment would give extra space.
Nice idea that. Shame they only list for FL2?
Interesting: might have to look into this in a little more detail - I presume swapping the steering arms just means that the adjusters clear the inner wings?
If it isn't snowing this weekend, I'll start investigating the remanufacture of my sump guard in heavier grade alloy!
Which kit did you use? And what tyres/ which wheels? I'm thinking of retaining the current standard 16" alloys and standard-sized Yoko Geolanders - but I am sure taller tyres would be a good idea to further improve ground clearance

The track rod locking bolts are on the bottom, which can make contact with the inner wing on full droop. Swapping them side to side puts the locking bolts on the top, giving about 10mm extra clearance.

I'm using 205 80 16 mud tyres on mine, so it already sits quite high. I've a drive shaft out atm when it's all refitted I will get some pics as I've nothing since did the lift kit.
