Looking at lift springs for my td5 disco some britpart springs have come up at the right price but what are they like and what are my other options

Bigger tyres and trimmed arches. Can keep stock springs that way.

HI I am to looking for a lift kit been looking at terrafirma 2" med springs cant work out if I need standard shocks TF 227 or 2 " extra shocks TF 229, brit part are cheap but don't expect the to last. Dave.
You can go either route. Standard length shocks or extended. But if you go any further than 2" lift, you'll need extended shocks. (personally I went for the extended shocks) and yes, medium load springs are a good idea, heavy are WAY to stiff.
For anyone who's interested...
This has 2" suspension lift + 2" extended dampers
2" lift blocks
2" body lift
2" extended brake lines
2" extended bump stops
33/12.5R15 on 15x10J ET-35
Wheel arches have been extended (75mm) and cut out
In total there is 8" of lift including the tyres, suspension and body lift. I had to remove the cross brace under the front prop to achieve this, but I have plans to put it back on with some spacers.

The first question I would have to ask is "Why?"
Why do you want to lift your Disco and what do you hope to achieve? If it's just for cosmetic reasons or the weekly safari to the local Tesco car park then I would advise that you have a bit of a rethink.
Next question would be "What do you have already on the back of your disco, springs or airbags?"
On the subject of off-roading and vehicle modifications, he won't say it 'cos he's too modest, but you won't go far wrong if you follow the advice from @300bhp/ton.

why is ace better than standard anti roll bar
I could explain it, but it's really best if you just experience it lol.
Depends how you drive the vehicle too, but if you go into corners quite fast, then it will apply pressure to the ARB which almost eliminates body roll.
The other bonus, is if you want to use the vehicle for off-road, the ACE system basically acts as if there is no ARB and allows the axles to travel a hell of alot further.

Got sorted with the a little lift kit ended up getting a 2" lift kit from terrafirma for £100 6 months old the fella I bought it off had all the boxes and reciepts to show me. The reason I wanted to lift it is I will be doing a bit of logging in fields etc with this and the mrs will be going shooting in it as well will post up some pics
