Lift kit for an MOT

Would fitting a 2" lift kit have any effect on an MOT?

Is there any reason you can fail an MOT by having a lift kit with 2" shockers/springs?

How many folk run lifted landys ... ?

i fought it was december not april

Only a problem if you happen to live in the same country as me, they are really against anything like that!!!

In the UK, do as you please and be kind to animals.

I didn't think it made a difference but I saw someone post somewhere that they had to put it back on normal springs and coils when going for the MOT

MOT's are no problem

as long as the springs don't fall out

M.O.T man likes a lifted landy easyer to see what else is rong with it

Yep, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain are real no go areas with lifting and technical inspections!!!

But the test is only once a year in most and every other year in Germany

I like the Portuguese system where you can have what ever you want written in to your vehicles documents, once on the papers and you have paid the premium you can pretty much please yourself.
