lhd battery box

is the battery box for a lhd defender on the opposite side to a rhd?
need to put a second set of batts in and if i can get box ready made would be easier.

i have rhd but need to put a 2nd set of batts in for 24v system thats going in.
want to put batts under my seat.
been given fridge, heater and loads of other 24v stuff from mates dad who used to drive wagons.

Could be a goer then - but check with someone who has one - only owned and taken apart 90s myself

My 1990 110 has a box under each of the two front seats, one currently holds the battery and the other is full of spares and gaskets, so there shouldn't be any problems!

Lift out the seats and have a look-see!!
