Thought I found another door about an hour away but it was gone already.

I think I might just be keeping the scar to remind me of that time I couldn't get the handbrake on as it rolled down the drive. Or just pretend I did it off-roading.

If in doubt use DPD. Never once yet had a mistreated, lost, late (or on time for that matter, they are always early) parcel off them yet. Absolutely spot on guys up here.

Sorry to **** on your bonfire, but they lost an engine stand I ordered and then basically fed me a load of ****e when I enquired after it.

DPD sent me a tracking number by e-mail, a choice of delivery dates by text message (one of which I selected) and then waited in all day.... for bugger all.

When I contacted them, they claimed they had received no parcel from the sender (Tooledup.com). When I replied asking what the tracking number related to if they'd received no parcel , they gave me some B.S about the sender 'initiating the number' but not sending the parcel. Unsurprisingly, this turned out to be complete bollox - the bloke at the other end must have just made it up.

In the end, a second engine stand was sent out to me from Tooledup (who, unlike DPD, were actually top bananas to deal with).

On the positive side, the engine stand didn't have any holes punched through it!

They're all as bad as each other.

Just sign "DAMAGED" for everything all the time and you should have a stronger case if you ever have damaged goods.

sorry to hear about yam door. :(

On the plus side, i will be checking all my parcels before i sign for them in the future. So thanks for sharing. :D

Hope yo usort it out.

maguires and a good rag ;)

i always make sure i tell the seller to wrap it like its going to be blown up. at the end of the day its night ...........

i had a load of panels to move some time back, the buyer drove with a box trailer and collected em..easy 500mile round trip...
the doors and roof panel were undented so it was worth it.

i have sent TNT packing at work when they have opened the lorry door and its a crash site with boxes lobbed in the back..

accepted none of the import goods and told em tae fek arf.

1 box was worth 7k and made of carbon fibre ..this way up top load etc and it was side down with other stuff on it..

dont use em anymore.
