Got em from fleebay but up till now they all come with the little pins in the wrong place
insted of being on opposite sides, they are like a 1/4 but with a bit of juggry pokery they will work infact they fit better coz they dont come loose ...
There is prob the right ones out there somewhere i just didnt look for very long "lol"

Do you just want LED 'bulbs' or complete light units?

I use the full LED NAS type made by OE supplier Le Perei, excellent bits of kit and if you already have NAS lights fitted then they are a straight bolt-on although you will need an electronic flasher-relay (or fit ballast resistors).
There is no comparison with normal lights fitted with LED 'bulbs' and they look far more in keeping than the BOB ones (too bling for my tastes). Also they are not too expensive, you can't buy front side-lights by Le Perei (you can't use reversing lights either as they are too bright) but the remaining ten light units were under £300. For the front side-lights I did fit LED 'bulbs' from BOB but the point of light was too concentrated for my tastes.

For the Toylander I bought some LED 'bulbs' from Hong Kong off Ebay. They are the 36LED reversing light type and are excellent, they are used as headlamps on that vehicle and really throw out the light. The best bit was that the pair were 99p + £2.49 P&P and they arrived within the week. I had heard that the Far Eastern LED's were not very robust but up until now these have proved 100% reliable. Ok, the vehicle doesn't get the same wear & tear of the LR but it still gets a decent amount of use.

Get the units not just the bulbs, i replaced all of myn with clear lenses. Front were ok, indicators have a weaker 'angle' then the standard. Rear brake lights are fine if your directly behind or in the dark there ok but i have actually changed them now after following my landy and seeing it brake, well, not as well as i should have!

The ones i got were propper ones, extra bright LED and were 'legal' for road use, just not in a defender light diffuser it seems.

Looks sweet though with the clear lenses, still got the fronts on.

ok not going with this anymore firstly cost of led light units and I seem to have runs of breaking 2 or 3 at a time. bulbs, so leds dont work as well as bulbs in lr light units ?or am i reading it wrong, but still want clear lenses

So which is the best set to go for? I was looking at the RDX sets from boltonbits, but they don't have them on anymore. I want a set of the full 10 (Fog and Reverse included) with all clear lenses. I'm not bothered if LED or not, as long as they look like they are. I really don't like the look of the River runners ones! The wider ones are a lot better. Any suggestions? Has anyone got the Simmonites ones? Like the look of (and price!) of them a lot. What are your thoughts?

Many Thanks! James

You can keep the aftermarket gear particularly the ones above - they look like a bit of bodge - istead take the originals and improve to keep the look.

Ignore the Whelen flashers - they are disconnected now.

I have the full 10 clear RDX style on my landy as i thought they looked the best, got them from bolt on bits at billing as they where £50 cheaper than on there ebay website,
If you do manage to get them make sure ya get the correct connectors and the backing plate that allows you to mount them to the vehicle, also ya will need the relay as well.
Just tried to look for them but like you said they seem to have vanished, Hope you find them. Try messaging them on ebay.

I brought the last set from Bolt on bits, sorry guys but the set I ordered aren't even in the country yet but I ordered a extra fog and reverse as I have 2 of these on my truck and they are top quality, waterproof and very bright but the need the connectors fitting, I would recommend them

mine seem fine.'t find the ones I have on emay right now, but
I have clear lenses all round, used normal amber lamps in these, I have LED tail/brake lamps though.
these are what I have, leds all round, so no worries about the viewing angle.

not gone for led indicators yet, cant be fussed with load resistors etc, and want the trailer lamp to work when im towing.
