Guys, feeling the need for an LED lightbar mounted on the roof on my 110. Thinking full width, but don't know whether to go for curved or straight?

Guessing straight might line up with the Defenders lines better, but will the curved spread light better?

Any thoughts? Plus any recommendations? Like anything you can pay £70 to £600....(and I like the sound of £70!!!!) ....but at the same time, don't want poor quality, so if theres a threshold I should aim to be over, price wise, to ensure its not absolute tat.....I'd appreciate knowing it!

Also, anyone know what width will fit the top of a 2008 defender with a factory fit raised air intake?

Cheers

most of the big light bars have a mixture of flood and spot patterns in the LED array so light throw is not an issue really.... look at Raptor4x4, they do nice ones and backed up with solid guarantees. a 50" bar is about right for full width on a defender

I would say cured for disco and straight for defender to match the roof where it meets the screen.
Mate fitted a curved one to his disco, have to say was pretty bright, cost him 80 quid off of ebay.

Straight. 52" is the max i think. Tho get a tape measure n see!

Check V-Liteway on ebay, they do excellent bars for little money.

The majority of the bars sold in the UK are the same as the ones off ebay from china just triple the price. Trouble is sifting through the **** ones to get a quality one.
