LED bulbs in spots and fogs?

Depends what you are driving. A gun metal grey Chelsea Tractor looks good with LEDs. Anything else looks sh*t.

No, not for my headlamps, for my spots and fog lamps, I want to try and take some strain off my electrical system, LED's in Defenders head lamps arnt legal in the Uk.

Never tried but looked into it. You need to make sure the light source is as close as possible to the same size and location as a regular bulb to get a reasonable beam pattern. You also need to make sure whatever you use had suitable heat sinks, some have fans too which make them quite bulky

Id have thought LEDs ran cooler? But yeah, beam pattern will be all over the place on some of the bulbs Ive looked at.

They actually produce quite a bit of heat, the main issue seems to be damage caused to the body/wiring of the led, rather than the actual diode
