Knowing Land Rover, you probably have to hook it up to diagnostics to determine the colour.
Click on the link below, and type in the VIN and do a search. It'll give you a summary of the original build sheet for the vehicle, which includes the colour of the interior.

Nice idea but at the first attempt, it came up with an error that said “too many attempts”! I will try again later - thanks.

The grey leather colour is known as Storm, from the 2011 brochure.

Thanks for that - the link works but unfortunately doesn't get me any closer to finding some leather dye as none of the aftermarket suppliers stock this colour.
I am very much obliged to you for your efforts. I'm off to start another thread now which has become a little more urgent than my damaged passenger seat!
