Small update to this ...

Have a site in mind, near Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors, for about £300 a day, so 20 vehicles or more needed to make it economically worthwhile .. BUT .. for that we get the whole shebang .. we can lay out a Trials course, have a 'Pay n Play', 'cept we've already payed, and have lots of different 'getting stuck' areas as well as simple hills, woods all sorts for training .. ;)

Not sure of dates yet, I want to do this right so I'm not going to just dive in, I want it organised reasonably well. I'm thinking towards the end of October, early November and suggest a full weekend .. I am in the process of getting a campsite together to suit us, like a rally field, hopefully with toilets/showers electric hook ups and water, but water stand pipes at the least! .. There are a couple close by but neither have replied yet.

Thinking of making it a package deal, 2 nights friday/saturday camping, 2 days training/playing, Saturday/Sunday, possibly one day training Saturday and a greenlane trip Sunday/dispersal of the groups, bearing in mind the potential for beer intake on Saturday night at the campsite!!

As said still not got campsite prices yet, but would envisage this to work out at less than £50 the weekend, per vehicle, providing we get 20 or more vehicles. Certainly the 'play' site is per vehicle, the camping might be per person .. dunno yet.

Not worried too much about numbers yet till I get definite prices, but based on that can we start a 'proper' list .. copy, paste add name and next number .. ;)

I'm definately in, I can help with the trails course too :)

I'm coming

Does it have to be camping, choose a site with a nice hotel nearby, pretty please :D:D:D

I don't think you have to have one for this. Its about learning to recover stuff, you dont have to have a Landy to get stuck.

True but i rafter not have to turn up in a rusty cilo depending on the date i might come and hop in with someone

When I get chance I'll get a list of nearby B&B's/hotels etc .. but it'll be up to yourselves to arrange that side of it, though I'll help of course .. ;)

Brilliant, cant wait now :D:D

Should be plenty of accommodation if its near the coast

I for one do not care in the slightest about camping in the cold and if I can make it I am happy to organise a camping posse :D

I will remind you of this post when you are camping on a Yorkshire Moor in November. You will be joining the softies in the bar just to thaw out :D:D:D
